When I first came in contact with DoTerra's essential oils I had no idea how to use them. I picked them up and smelled them and heard a little voice inside tell me that I needed them in my life. They came at a time I was experiencing a ton of grief and had no income and very little left in savings. However, over the years I had learned to trust that voice so I went home and bought the biggest kit DoTerra had. That $500 was a sacrifice, but I could feel that these oils had a mission and were meant to help so many in the world to heal. I wanted to be a part of that mission. I started using what I got and reading what I could so that I could understand what essential oils to use to help support which body systems. The difference they made on my ability to cope with life's stressors alone was well worth the investment, but being able to take care of my family in a way that supported their bodies instead of hindered them has made all of the difference.

Within a couple of years of using DoTerra's essential oils I became pregnant. I was using both DoTerra's Lifelong Vitality Pack vitamins and essential oils and I felt amazing. I had enough energy to homeschool 2 young kids, chase a toddler and work on my own business. When I was just under 32 weeks pregnant, I called the midwife to check on the baby. I had had multiple ultrasounds and they always checked out perfect, but something felt off with my baby's movements. I found out at this time that I had a placental abruption and I needed an emergency c-section. It's times like that that make me grateful for medical intervention. But when they took my tiny 3.3 lb baby out, they told me that my abruption had been taking place for the majority of the pregnancy and very little was still attached. As scary as this experience was, there were miracles that happened. My baby was able to breathe on his own and when they tested the tissues from the uterus, there was no bacteria. The products I had been taking had supported my body and the baby so that he had the best possible outcome for the situation. The doctors and nurses told me repeatedly that things like that never happened. I knew that I was given tools to help me not only during that time but throughout my life and I couldn't have that experience and not help others with the things they were needing support on.

Since that time, I have had the privilege of working with countless individuals on their own healing journeys on many different levels. I am forever grateful for the decision I made to listen to that little voice and for all that it has brought to my life including the many amazing friends and partners I have made along the way.
